Sasuga

Sasuga is a martial arts club, which operates in Helsinki, Finland. We practice mainly a Japanese martial art called Daitoryu aikijujutsu. Our head teacher is Yutaka Amatsu 8th dan, the top student of Takuma Hisa Sensei (Menkyo Kaiden by Sokaku Takeda).

You can begin practicing in our club any time by contacting us first via e-mail. We will get back to you after that. You can also join by entering a basic course, which we hold usually twice a year (autumn and spring).

We practice all the different close combat forms of jujutsu, including armed and unarmed combat methods to defeat either armed or unarmed opponents. Basic jujutsu techniques include e.g. strikes, pins, joint locks, throws, strangles and different weapon techniques. Check out our media-site here!

We also organise Daitoryu aikijujutsu seminars for groups. If you have a group or martial arts club that is interested in learning real Daitoryu aikijujutsu, don't hesitate to contact us.

Our practicing premises are located in Helsinki, Elimäenkatu 29. (3rd floor).
